130x Bling - microheli upgrades

I am really liking the 130x so decided to add some shiney bits.

Ordered an almost complete set of upgrades from Microheli. DHL - HoChiMin City in Vietnam, to Hong Kong, to Cinncinati, to Toronto, to Halifax in 3 days!!! And then sat in Halifax for 4 days while Loomis figured out how to use google maps

They were out of stock on the main grips. Upgrades are;

1) Autorotation bearing with Delrin main gear
2) Titanium Main Shaft
3) Longer CF tail boom supports
4) Titanium swash
5) CF antirotation bracket
6) Pitch Slider
7) Aluminium tail gear case
8 ) Double bearing weighted tail grip combo
9) CF vertical stabilizer

It all took about 4 hours to install. most of it went together easily. Everything comes well packaged and an install drawing comes with each assembly. The pitch slider was the most difficult as you have to use the existing slider arms, which means removing and replacing and gluing some very small pins!

Weight without canopy and battery went from 86 grams to 90 grams. I could probably get 2 grams of that back by cutting off the molded plastic anti-rotation bracket but decided to leave it for now.

It flys great in the Heli-Cave. Rock steady in hover. Weird to watch the head spool down. To windy to try outside today. I won the 130x at the ASRCM heli fun fly this summer - thanks guys! So investing $150 bucks in it doesn't hurt much

The proof will be in the outdoor performance. If all goes well and I am going to order those red main grips and a matching canopy. Will try to get some video.

Looks great! I have the full micro heli tail and it is a huge improvement over stock. I am now waiting for a tail servo as mine died. So far, I hate the heli. Now my Nano CPX...i LOVE that little thing.

I love those Rakonheli/Microheli upgrades, they look awesome. How easy was it to do the tail gear case?

Its been so bad from the factory that I have not had a chance to really fly it. I am hoping a new tail servo will make it 100%

This 600E pro, however, flys great: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uTnuRR2AxFw

Re: 130x Bling - microheli upgrades

Do you actually mean that with all this bling, the weight only went up by 4 grams ????
Totally suprised.....
Would be nice to see a video of it hovering and flying stock if you have and a video with all the bling.

I will get some video and post it. And yes only 4 grams - surprised the heck out of me. And i am sure i could reduce that by 2 by cutting off that tall plastic antirotation bracket.

The tail gear caes was not to bad. The biggest issue there is getting the torque tube reconnected up front - I have big fingers! The tail slider was the only real challanging piece - those tiny pins!!!

Ouch! Much damage? Other than being a tree magnet do you like the 600?
Where did it happen - is that your field?
