One other tip if it hasn't been mentioned before is to loosen the antenna wire off (ie. unwind it a bit) of the canopy pin. My first 3-in-1 had to be replaced because the antenna's solder joint got yanked around too much with each (oops) crash. Never had that problem with my mCPX, but the Nano's wire seems really snug from the board to the canopy pin.... there's no give.

Arrgghhh! It's happening again and I DID loosen the wire off.

Anyone else having troubles with the antenna or where the 3-in-1 loses bind momentarily and jump in and out of failsafe mode?

Re: Nano CPX - First Impressions...

Got my Fbl100 back running. I thought the feathering shaft was bent but the only real damage was the servo gear and the blades got banged up. I've already slammed it into the concrete a few times and myself once, tough little bugger.

Thumbs up Re: Nano CPX - First Impressions...

Ok, gotta share this..a MUST upgrade for the new NanoCPX..

The amazing MicroHeli all metal swash with anti rotation bracket !

I ordered this as I broke a ball connection on the original swash and figured since I have yet to throw a blade control link ( unlike the MCpX ) I ordered one from RotorQuest....

Wow is all I can say, smother cyclic controll and response... if there was anything I would replace on this heli would be the swash with ant-rotation bracket ( bracket mounts behind the elevator servo and you simply clip off the original plastic one ) ... besides that some better landing skids...other than that , this has got to be hands down the best little microheli I have owned..durable, fun and flys in moderate wind with the heavier bullet blades just great !!

Re: Nano CPX - First Impressions...

Did some more upgrades to my Cpx so now have Micro Heli Swash, Blade Grips, alloy main rotor Hub, Tail Motor, Asteroid brushless kit, sold carbon boom, Air Time Skids and V911 Canopy with a mod to the frame add carbon Canopy posts. This this us almost indestructible now! Believe me.. I've crashed it hard a hundred times at least. Still bend the feathering shaft once in a while, but that's about it. Happy Flying! Steve
