I had mine break right where the fuel goes in. stupid composite carbs. I hit 410 degrees racing. I actually jb welded the carb and it held up, just needs to sit for a day.
I don't understand why they try to mill them so thin, it's for a bloody monster truck. a friggin gram saved to make the carb weak was badly thought out.
Try it, I save the carb as a back up. cheaper than $50 and gives you a back up motor.
I traded a tmaxx last night for an ntc3. I still have almost a complete tmaxx with 21 conversion. I wanted the starter box mostly. sell the ntc3 and get a 21 for my tmaxx. dude got all the original tmaxx arms and stuff. all my old spares. he was happy and I cleaned out my pit box :d

That's the same spot mine broke.
I am going to JB weld it just want to get the truck running on the o.s. motor then we'll start working on the back-up motor.
