Hey guys!

I went over to Troy's place yesterday and checked out his track in Moncton. I've corresponded with him by e-mail a few times because I'm just getting back in R/C cars. I was never really into it all that much before, but I built a Tamaya monster truck about 10 years ago. I recently brought it out of retirement this summer and I decided to get back in R/C and maybe do a little racing. I purchased a used B4 Associated Stealth with a brushless motor from a guy in the US. I'm still waiting for it to arrive.

I live in Saint John, but my girlfriend lives in Moncton and I visit her there on most weekends. Right now I'm planning on coming out every few Sundays up in Moncton to practice with whoever is there. I also heard there is some Saint John guys who get together out near St. George during the week and I might look them up too. I'm probably not going to get into it as serious as most of you guys because I just don't have the time to dedicate to it and I'll probably lose almost every race ... but I wanted to make my presence known just the same. If you have any tips or advice for a newb like myself it would be much appreciated or if there are any clubs or events that I should know about ... please drop me a line.

I have to say I thougth the track over at Troy's was pretty awesome (even though it was raining when I saw it) because I've never used an RC car on an actual track meant for that before. I'm pretty excited about doing it for the first time after my B4 arrives. I'm looking forward to meeting all you new people and learning the ins and outs of RC offroad racing.

See you at the track,
