That's right... alot of people are really looking forward to this event, and it is all about the fun! However there is always some that can spoil it by taking it to seriously, and hopefully that won't become an issue.

There are people thinking of just going to watch the Monster Mash... that is going to be awesome to watch!!! I am sure it will look like a bunch of newbies on the track, with all the smahes and crashes, but even that is fun to watch. always get a good laugh!

You never know... with the turn out you may get, next year you may need to make it a two day race!!!

Mac, your completely correct in saying this should have been brought up sooner than 5 days before the event.

Leave things as is this year and if there are enough entrants maybe change things next year.

Dave, your the BOSS. So the Truggies may beat the monster trucks ? The first monster truck can brag "He`s the first monster truck"

Im not worried about this, im an 1/8th scaler.

What does ROAR do in the States ? Maybe do that next year ?

Ok....i'm not gonna even pretend to say i read all that 8O My ADHD kicked in WAAAY back. It's too late in the game to change things. Let the chips fall where they may. If the MT class is a big thing it is something that can be addressed next year. At teh beginnig fo the season there was no way we could have forseen this type of thing happening.

[quote="spond"]I'm with ya on that one..butt nothing i can do, my savage will have to be all it can be. There are a couple dominator/tuggies that run regularly at king, and they kick the MT's butts...but hey..it's all in fun..It would be good to separate, but I don't think we ahve the time. Maybe next year. As a matter of fact, one of the pirates blew his rear diff and still made ground ahead of the MT's...

How then do you separate the savage/tmaxx/lst's etc into a class a part from the domiators and pirates anyway...I guess you just make a truggy and an MT class...

Oh well, we all knew about this at the begining, and were just happy to have a MT class. Like I said, next year we can hope for and open, and an MT class..

I hope your not refering to John and Tom's trucks, they r NOT truggies. Tom is running stock tmaxx suspenion and diff's front and back. I'm running stock savage susprnsion and diff's front and back. We r not using center diff's. R only mod's r chassis and engines . I can't speak 4 tom but if you guy's feel I have an unfair atvantage ,then I won't race

Great thread! It makes me think that next year I need to set up a comittee to help me in organizing this race. I feel that going into this race we are way ahead of last year and this has always been a goal to keep growing, evolving and make a better race. If everyone can watch and observe and then we will address the issues after the race. Maybe next year needs to be a 2 day event so we can break down into more classes. I am pretty much open to anything. The only thing that bugs me is I keep asking for sugestions, dont get any and then when it is to late I get lots of them! To often the people that complain don't come out anyway. I have heard more complaints about my track from guys that have never been to the track then by racers who have. As far as dust goes did you see pictures from the race in Vegas this year, they were wearing goggles on the drivers stand!! Many racers do not adapt to the conditions. If your filter is clean and properly installed you will never get dirt in your engine. This is a fact. If you don't beleive me ask Dave Henry tonight he has raced and won every race I have had and he has not sucked dirt into an engine. He hope to win again this year!

It will all work out awesome - just come out and show your support!

naw..chewy..it's all good..no worries at all. I am impressed with what you guys have made..I wish I had the time and inginuity to try that kind of stufft (now that I have my own gargage finally maybe I will....)

Maybe one thing we could do Dave is have an unofficial division in the same race. Make the call on "vehicles" like Toms' and Chewy's at the begining of the race, and then place the best open and best MT at the end..same race, just with two classes. One trophy, two people get bragging rights..trophy goes to the winner..and the best of the next class gets a handshake...i dono..that would work, cuz then PB and I can race and not worry about all the mutannts running around us..LOL...hehehehe

Like PB says, if he finishes 5th but behind 4 truggies..then he's the best MT racer. He didn't WIN, but he was the best MT...I think that might actually work...

It is all about fun anyway, and meeting new people and getting new ideas..

SUPERD's PAST PITMAN just ask SuperD
Sprucewood - First B-main, 9th A-main
Bellvegas - 4th A-MAIN Truggy
TTR S3 - Rossi M21 (on side lines all summer)
TTR ST-1 with LSK OMG..

I feel a simply solution for MT class is this:

Class 1: 1/10 scale T-Maxx only, no .21 conversion kits allowed but any size engine are permitted. No exceptions

Class 2: 1/8 scale MT, no restictions.

I think that is simply enough.

For me, because all MT will race together I won't bother entering it because unless the rest of the racer's MT break down my stock T-Maxx does not stand a chance with it's .15 trx engine.
I'll have a Nitropolitan...

4 parts Sidewinder Race Blend 30%
2 part Nitro Speed Scent (Crazy Cotton Candy)
1 part Nitro Speed Scent (Very Cherry)

Shake and strain into a chilled glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge.
