Tamiya's original Air Brush, tried spray bombs and hand painting, neither worked as good as the first. I like to do color fading from one color (red) to another (blue), and it's a plus to be able to "on the fly" add paint to the bottle and then mix and continue painting. Takes about 45 mins to go from one color to the other, but what happens is it goes from the red (or blue) to the blue (or red) in every color imaginable inbetween. I tried to do this on a bottom locking bottle air brush, but the results were less than favorable. I guess it depends on what you want to do, but for ease of use, the Tamiya had a small foot print (for getting into the body and getting close to where I was wanting to spray) and it wasn't overly noisy. Their newer one seems expensive, but it looks like they've cleaned up a few of the issues (like the battery compartment).
