the HV-Maxx only has one motor, and it will blow away the 550 motors anyday of the week......and its run off 2 packs.....and the esc is good from 10-14 cells....so 2 7cells packs would be the best

Try these guys, their prices work out to be a little cheaper than some of the others for 6 cell. I got to packs like I said with express shipping for under $80 CDN. http://stores.ebay.com/austinelse

As for the motor thing, the single Brushless motor has makes an electric Savage conversion faster than a stock nitro savage. They are utterly insane...

The best thing about NiCAD's is that you can charge and re-charge them non-stop without burning out the cell. The problem with NIMH is that you should only use it once or twice per day. After that, the cell itself starts suffering damage. But I still say, if you want a ballistic E-Maxx, get yourself some lipo packs and put a grin on your face like this guy !!!!

As for the welding of thos packs, I can't see how it's any better than a battery bar. I guess they are trying to say in their best Chinese to English translation "our tack welding doesn't heat up the cell". But I would still feel better with a nice thick copper battery bar!

Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.
