Geez its no fun runnin withy numb fingers,
Actually, with today's oils (instead of the 1980's where oil would change viscocity badly with temp changes, and it foamed), the change of temperature has little affect on the oil, it's not even worth going 5wt difference. The temperature won't affect it unless it's been sitting in sub zero for a few weeks (then it may freeze). I left my Losi in the trunk of the car before a Hobby Show race in the winter, go up to snow outside and lousy temps, got the car to the show and watched it fog up (condensation). Shocks worked just the same way as they did warm, but the oils came a long way since then, though that was the first round of synthetic oils in the Losi (my car, not the first time they came available).
