From what I've read in the past when the engine first came out that it was good except for some very slight adjustments/modifications when fitting the engine on. Something about a part(s) rubbing against another part, just can't remember exactly. Remember what I just wrote that this motor has been out for sometime now and any issues on dropping in the motor is old news. One thing is for sure is to set aside some $$$'s for a new set of F, R & C CVD's as the plastic drive system may not hold up to the 2 HP claimed power output this engine puts out. I'm running stock engine but put a spool in the rear diff and I shredded the read drive system with just a 1/2 hour of bashing.

For more info on your engine just goto Traxxas Forum and do a search on the engine you want. That is where I got my info from in the past.

Good Luck.
I'll have a Nitropolitan...

4 parts Sidewinder Race Blend 30%
2 part Nitro Speed Scent (Crazy Cotton Candy)
1 part Nitro Speed Scent (Very Cherry)

Shake and strain into a chilled glass.
Garnish with a lime wedge.
