Get a similar vehicle to friends/people around you. If you get a nitro offroad and they all have nitro on-road, you'd be the odd man out and it wouldn't be as much fun.

Failing that, if no one around you has either, then get a vehicle that you can run at your nearest track. Since your in Maple, Dave Mcleans track will be the closest and it will be nitro offroad. So I would then get either a Monster truck or a 1/8th scale buggy.

In reality, if your going to just play around your house, and maybe the occasional trip to a place like Dave's, then I would go with some sort of Monster truck.

But if you think your going to really want to race and really attend the track (when open) then I would go with a 1/8th scale buggy.

Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.

How about both? Such as a HPI MT SS, they are coming out with a new one, with a bigger motor then the MT 2

it's kinda a cross from an onroad and monster truck :P
You can drive a fast truck slow, but you can't drive a slow truck fast!
