Cool, I dont have any experiance with mine yet, so i dont know the TNX's weak points yet, so maybe some of the more experienced TNXers could start assembling some sort of list of parts that are weak.

The TNX is a basher/racers dream....I have only ever broke one upper a-arm and that was after a major jump/roll/flip again and it was in the beginning of December. I have also broke the universals twice..once after jumping all afternoon from 6-8ft on a constucion site and once another time trying to backflip off a hill/jump at the BMX track at Trafalgar rd and Britannia near oakville/georgetown. The shocks are not very good but they will hold up if you ca glue the ends to the shock shaft. I ran mine at Hillsburgh without any durability issues what soever and Hillsburgh is a 1/8 style track with big jumps. If Hillsburgh had a drivers stand which it does not need anyways because of the sloped hill it would be a track that rivals the 1/8 tracks in the united states!!. There are always ways to improve durability but the TNX is unique because the plastic is so damn strong!! and to put more weight on it would take away from its distinct advantage. I plan to run TRAXXAS BIG-BORE shocks with the titanium nitrade shafts this summer.

The only real weak spot on the truck I've found so far are the universals. I've snapped two so far but it has more to do with the tires I had on it at the time(Hot Bodies 7" Psychos). Those tires are heavy and just overstressed the universals. I've had absolutly no problems with the shafts running ProLine 40 series Bowties. The New Era chassis does add more weight but it's walso much thicker than stock. You don't have to use it with the chassis rails but it's the only way to mount the centre skid plate. At least until I can maybe come up with something else. The only other thing is OS has their new 18TZ which makes 2.2 hp and should be a staright bolt in. I ran the 18CVR (with the chassis and rail upgrades) and it was as fast as stock even with the extra weight. That engine's rated at 1.6hp so I can only imagine the extra speed since you would need the conversion kit and the extra weight that goes with it.
