The savage is old news, just like the t-maxx, dont you think r/c companies are competing against one another, look at the 18th scale, the mini t comes out and all of a sudden a whole onslaught of 1/18 scale trucks are there to compete.

Traxxas has come out with the Revo and its kicking Savage butt all over the place (heres a war, i dont mean to rage). Do you honestly think that it makes good buisness sense for HPI to keep throwing parts at an old product to try and compete with newer more advanced trucks. The T-maxx and Savage will both have to step aside and let evolution take its course.

I agree that the Savage and T-maxx are both good trucks, and alot of people on this site own them, but the competition is getting more fierce every month.

Im not saying they are goin drop the Savage in the next month or so, but some newer technoligy isnt far away.

only time will tell how long the savage will be around in the mean time all we can do is speculate... but from the lifespan of other hpi products i think a few more version of the savage are due before we see a complete redesign...

i think that u should wait before buying the the new savage because u never really know what awsome truck is going to pop out on to the market all of a sudden.

it is all up to u to sell ur opinion would be to call around and ask how much they would buy a used t-maxx 4 because with all these new trucks over the past few years that have come out the t-maxx value has gone down.

I agree with fozy the savage will fade out like the Tamia Bruser and come back as a relic in 15-20 years
as for new engines i think that traxxas should bring out a big block
and in the future i could see the posibility of more than one cylinder oh ya v8 8O 9.0cc engine feel the p o w e r and i don't mean home made ones something in a production
~nutt'n like the smell of nitro in the morning!!~ ~yeh!!~
~Yes, I have a T-maxx. No it doesn't suck!~
