Anyone know or remember the difference between a 240ST and a 240E.
I can see the ST output end is part of the can pressed in on piece whereas the E has a separate cap at both ends. Is that significant or were there other differences?

Any an all input appreciated.
If it ain't Jap, it's crap

I remember those motors, although I can't remember what the difference is. I beleive the "E" has an aluminum end plate. Maybe bushings instead of bearings? I know they were both 'entry level' motors at the time.

My first modified motor was a LeMans480t I had a few of those LeMans motors...ahh the good ol' days

I still have a 240ST - it was the 'stock' class version. Still made a big improvement over the 550 Mabushi motors that came with Tamiya buggies. It was a great first step up. I've seen some LeMans motors show up on eBay - keep your eyes open. Usually the seller has first-hand info.
