I've got a Monster GT and I love it. Its a sweet ride right out of the box. The engine is not the most powerful one out there but if your new to monster trucks it will serve you well. It has a very roomy chasis and is very easy to work on. The parts are strong enough. There are a few parts that I have broken; front bumper and a lower suspention arm( I hit a tree and a fence post on two different occations) and the body posts. Nothing major. I think that anything will break if you abuse it long and hard enough. If all you are going to do is bash then go for the MGT. If you find that you want to race, then it can be modifyed.

Well.. I have driven both.. but only own a savage..
At Monster Jam.. I only drove teh MGT for 15 min.. and broke or lost serveral parts that i didn't even know about till later...

I drove my savage for the rest of the time doing many.. many.. many high destructive style jumps and all i broke (lost ) was a control arm... (my engine was already toast so that does not count)

You be the judge...

If you get the savage 4.6, you might not want a new engine as soon as you might with the savage 25 or the MGT..

The MGT might be a better racer.. but as a basher the savage RULES.. and there are not to many that can deny that. they may argure against it, but they can not deny it.. (if that makes sence)

I can speak for the savage 4.6 SS as my bro just bought one recently as it has gone through some crazy stuff and just just keeps on ticking. By some extra spur gears just incase as it likes to eat those for snacks...
