New track In Halifax

As most have been wondering and asking as of late when will the new track will be ready or even started. Well the answer is both good and bad. The site in Burnside is going to be turned back over to its owners as I am the only one aloud to have access to the propriety. That means if I am not around no uses the grounds. With my work commitments this will mean little track time during certain parts of the summer. I have gone back to the gentleman who got the propriety for me and we have talked about several other locations as he does own a fair amount of propriety in the HRM and also out around Springhill. As it stands we are looking at two sites in the Fall River, Waverley area and one out near the airport on the opposite side of the highway. The building materials have all been lined up and they will make for a large and professional looking track.

As some of you have seen the track planned for Burnside will be changed as we have looked at a plan the will have a foot print of around 200 feet in length by 100 feet deep. Also it looks as if none of the sites will have an AC power. Also if everything goes good then there is a option for another new track in the Springhill area. This should give everyone five different locations to race for next summer.

Anyway now you all know. If there are any questions or comments please fell free to either post here or drop me a line.

I was kind of wondering the same thing
Ya, Ya I know, I see the carnage, but it's still race-able. Isn't it?
