I have a T-Maxx and a TNX, the stock T-Maxx (especially used) will probibly just ---- you off until you upgrade it. However now that mine has some durability upgrades (Integy alluminum bulkhead, RPM arms, steel clutch bell/spur) it can usually stand up to the Savages in durability for a long time. It'll take you a while to get a T-Maxx to this point though, so I say save your money.

As for the TNX, it kicks major ass on the track, especially the pro edition. All it needs to be a racer is Powerstroke shocks, and you don't even really need those to race (although they make a HUGE difference). The only issue is the tierods break a lot, and its durability is okay.

I bought my sons savage 25 from . Its $540 and and they did a great job on shipment time. don't forget to get a failsafe and batteries for the rotostart. (don't waster yer money, buy a 3000+ NIMH, venom has a good priced one)

Also recommend I got this charger for $80.00 from LHS Pirahna Digital Peak charger, will charge all NICAD and NIMH batts up to 8 cell's per charge. 10 battery memory and very easy to use.
