I agree with most of the posts and just in any sports or hobbies there are always rules and penalties i.e. Hockey as this sport was commented on.You hit somebody from behind your penalized. Like Viper said, there are safety rules and we all need to adhere to them.

However we cannot forget about our spectators, as the crowds grow, we need to have someone designated "viper" to take the lead and remind the spectators to be cautious of runaways, or cars / trucks coming close and they need to stay in a designated viewing area, if they get too close, they need to be asked to back up.

We need to have everyone policing and if someone is breaking the safety rules call it out right away. I think it was Jak who said "Due Diligence" and in a court of law, if you cannot prove you did this, plan on paying the penalty.

ther are to many good points, but the bottom line is thers gotta be some sort of safety rules for the cars ,drivers, and crowd ,maybe 2 run your car or mt u must have a failsafe and a return spring, drivers must not drive there model full tilt a them self ,and mabe tell the crowd to stay in a safe zone and even tell them the risk. once again these are just examples but you get the point.LETS BE SAFE

I will be there Monday but not to run. I plan on putting together a simple Rule Sheet/Waiver/Safe Zone/Play Zone not necessarily signed sheet to be given out to all the drivers and future followers of HHB including its spectators.
I am on the 13th year of my 2nd childhood and I REFUSE TO GROW-UP!
