How much interference have people experienced with high voltage power lines?

When i lived in toronto i noticed it some on my street, there were alot of interferance spots, and always just in those spots.
Ive also got one on my street now, but there are no power lines above it.

Depending how low they are. I bashed once where there were low power lines and I got a bit of interference. Not much, just a little twitch here or there. But that was using an AM system. I used a FM system later on and it seemed like there was no interference with that. The power lines at their lowest point was about 3 meters high. You'll get a bit of intereference, but shouldn't be too bad. I think higher power lines shouldn't interfere at all. The spektrum system gets away from interference altogether.
