It's been a while since the MGT came into the monster truck scene. It was a great truck that provided lots of power and handling that few could provide. Since then there has been a landslide of new trucks and the MGT fell out of view.

AE has upgraded the MGT with some new features that should pump some life into the truck. The first if the new 4.6 (.2 engine that bumps the displacement up 33% and should provide more all-around grunt.

To handle the new found power the MGTs two speed has received an upgrade to metal gears. They also included some steel CV-Axles for even more durability.

Part number and retail pricing:
#20501, Monster GT 4.60 SE RTR, $839.99

Early Sept. 2005

You can drive a fast truck slow, but you can't drive a slow truck fast!

Thumbs down Mgt

I have a Monster GT and love it. This new version is not much different from the original. It has a larger motor and steel gears in the transmition, thats it. Thunder Tiger should have gone further. The truck needs larger stering hubs, stronger cva's, and stronger universal drives. The asking price for the new truck is to high with just 2 upgrades. I think it will be short lived version.

Hopefully that MGT will be resonably priced in the store as the savage 4.6 is even cheaper than that.
