What is up with XTM???

Man as some of you know I just bought an XTM Mammoth ST. Man I was so impressed with the LOOK and LAYOUT of this truck I had to get one. I was reading the instructions booklet last night.....I hardly ever read the instructions but anyways, Who in hell wrote that thing up? I tell ya whoever it was needs to get hooked on phonics cause none of it made any sense....IT said my carb needles were factory set at 3 turns out but in the next paragraph it said 3 1/4, when I checked the truck out of the box it was at 4 3/4 turns out. It says the shift screw is a 1.5mm screw and that the shift point was also "Factory set" ya my butt it is.....The damn screw is a 2mm and if I turn the screw to the factory specs which was 9 1/2 turns from tight then the screw would fall out!!! It was so tight that I had to drill a hole in my 2mm driver to stick another screwdriver in it sideways to get enough leverage to loosen it.....Ya factory set!!! It didnt matter anyways cause once I got it loosened, The guru who assembled it must of crossthreaded it cause now it is stripped. Duh no wonder it wouldnt shift into 2nd.
Has anyone else had these types of problems with XTM models? Maybe I got me a lemon!!! IT happens I guess but man it sucks.
How is there customer service?
I wonder what my chances are of them to send me a new speed assembly?

Sorry for my rant but I just need to know if anyone else has had these problems or maybe this is the "norm" for XTM. I've had lots of different Traxxas nitro's and never experienced such a poorly assembled unit as this one.
