Thought I would share a few pics with you people. I just finished building another today.

I always love this pic. It shows a Hyper 21 8 port beside a 70

stock truck

home made splash guard from bubble packaging and shoe goo

This was the one I had been racing, all in red. too much aluminum maybe?

The group together. center unit ended up with an mgt 21 in it.

I bought this setup station off the board here. man I love it. it makes setting the rc up so much easier, faster and accurate. 5 pics

This is the most recent. finished last night. purple beast. also a pic of all the parts I have in stock now. the shelf is packed with bags on spares, 5 motors, 8 pipes. the buggy will get built up with purple center dif mounts (splitable). the shelf pic also shows how freaking big a genesis is beside the EK4. the delphi on bottom I took to an indoor track last night to run some laps. it's a challenge to drive but sure fast. the xxxnt I picked up last night for some tires and bling for an ek4. just needs a hump pack and it's good to go. The pic called Val (Valeri) is my bud's ek4. he just put that body on until we paint up his new one. too funny
there's 10 more pics here...

That's amazing, I wish I could see one of those on a track (or in action at all for that matter), all I've seen is a stock one at A&J's. Man those trucks are cool, especially with what you've done with them.

How good is the EK4's part support locally around the Toronto area or within' 2 hours drive around Toronto?

Advanced and A&J both carry some parts and can order what ever you want. Parts shouldn't be a problem with the excellent support of HobbyCraft.

I just got another box of stuff today LMAO. had to empty the motors and pipes into boxes on the opposite's walls' shelves as I got 6 chassis and stuff, more bling, bodies, 2 more parts cases, more stock parts. trading a few things with a friend in england now to get some s2 buggy parts. they have a spool 46 tooth. I am getting a couple of those to try for gearing.

I am going to use red locktite for outdrives and cvds now though. that was all I had trouble with in the end. The Cuda is gone. actually all 3 of the ones that say ready to go. I traded the chev for the cen, traded the cuda for a 5th scale, traded the 5th scale for all the boxes of loose parts to a friend in texas. (not to mention I traded him a blinged out brushless eco 8 last time around). I trade a lot. the xxxnt is going to a buddy up north. I don't know why I did it but he wants to run a gas truck. I just took it as payment for some tires and parts. now I have a xxt cr with almost 2 trucks worth of graphite parts plus. neat toy. I owed him a servo, clutch and flywheel we left on the 21 truck he borrowed (we were wanting to drink beer rather than wrench lol).

well back to sorting parts and getting ready to have a buildathon. I love building and tweaking. everyone loves the EK4's. it's a show truck. people come out to races to watch the beast... they are just different, and sound cool. it might not be the best truck to race, especially with stock tires and shocks, but is quite capable. drop a smaller powerplant in and call it a gs storm with stronger plastic (I ran a storm, had 2 so I know lol, and buddy was a team driver. I got my first one in a trade).

it was fun doing the wcorcs series. people came around my pits to see the cuda just from hearing about it lol. the smoke screeens on a cold day are quite "night of the living deadlike"
