My first time in there I stood there for almost a half hour waiting to buy a couple cells while the guy behind the counter shot the breeze about planes. But the thing that made me stop going there is I am from Stratford and there is no LHS, so I had ordered stuff from them before from the young guy(who is OK to deal with) but when I called to order stuff I got the boss. I gave him my order and he proceeded to yell and curse at me telling me that "ALL OFNA OWNERS ARE THE SAME, THEY ORDER STUFF AND THEN NEVER PICK IT UP BECAUSE IT IS TOO EXPENSIVE" I then tried to offer my credit card over the phone, to this he told me he wouldnt accept that and that I had to go in and pay "CASH ONLY". I am not going to drive almost 40 minutes just to order my parts, I dont mind driving to pick them up. This is what put a sour taste in my mouth and is now why I will drive the extra 10-15 minutes to go to Forbes. I have never once been treated like I was at Flite Craft. Forbes is my first call always and will always get my business, it is a very friendly atmosphere and I have made a great group of friends there. If Forbes doesnt have it in stock and I need it right away I will drive to Toronto before going to Flite Craft. This post is just to kind of explain why I feel they dont deserve any props. I am also not the only one this has happened to and they have lost alot of customers because of their attitudes.

i am not real pleased with my lhs ,but what can u do at least my guy will order no problem and i am not knocking the people that work there they are always realy nice and good people to deal with,it is there knowledge of the hobby that is lacking or intrest,it would be nice for a place that delt with everything and new what they were talking about.I can only think of one place where people are friendly, knowledgeable,it cost a little more money to shop there but they have the part in stock 95% of the time, now i wont name names but i have heard people complaining about this curtian shop befor and its prices But they have your part then NOT next week and to me thats worth the extra $$$$.

i never had a problem with the Flite Craft guys taking my order over the phone. they may not be the most accommodating at times but it is what it is u call ask if they have what ur looking 4 if they dont u order or call someone alse. until yesterday i didn't even know Forbes Hobbies existed. i think its great having to stores with in a 10 min drive from guelph. but it doesn't mean i'll start going to one exclusively. which ever can get what i need quicker is the one i'll be going too. variety is a wonderful thong.
