Kingsville is too far for me to drive ...... I hope they have some at the hobby show on Saturday.

AYK ...... I also believe that many people are buying the TTR because it too is a great buggy with great reviews from all of the magazines.

Why would you buy a buggy with no local parts support ? Everyone told me it's so important. Interesting isn't it ? Hmmm! I know parts are easy to get. It's a great buggy. Korgae will take care of you. Good Luck with your new buggy.

Question oh lord

uhhhhhhhhh here we go again?? man......its approching winter...the carpet season is gearing up....the snow will come soon and cover our tracks for the next couple months...why would a store owner stock anything for the car right now if they didnt last summer?? they wouldnt its just extra overhead to sit idle till spring or even summer...simple...there will be more xrays around next summer to justify a few parts on the wall of some shops next year..fact...there will be parts support...some shops may choose to not carry Xray for their own reasons?? who knows?? Action Hobbies Kingsville will ship they have a 1-800 number for you to call and parts are on the wall as we speak...you will not find an Xray booth at the hobby show (i would have ran the booth if i would have known we could have) good luck and whatever you get enjoy it ill be there to help either way...

Interesting thread.

From reading this thread I have some real insight into the perception of our product lines in the East.

I will address some points people are asking.

I will be the 1st to admit that everyone went into last season blind with the XB8. It was XRAY's 1st entry into this great class. That alone made it a uphill battle from our stand point with new dealers, What hobby shop in their right mind would stock a lot of anything that was unproven?

XRAY- is known 1st and foremost for there touring car platforms and the HUDY tool line. But jumping into a new market and one of the most competitive ones was a risk. As it turns out the risk has proven to minimal as the car had an amazing 1st season in Canada taking the west by storm and coming on late in the season to win 2 of the largest races in the East with a super small 2 person race team. Not to mention some solid results from around the world has served notice that XRAY is dedicated to the 1/8 scale market. No one can pass judgment on any shop that did not want to take that risk, however the shops that did or better yet simply knew the history of the manufacture and was comfortable with stocking a new line was rewarded with some pretty decent sales and almost exclusives in their area's as for sales of XRAY.

The other major factor to last year and why some shops were not carrying the line was the new North American distribution channels set in place by XRAY for 2005 ( XRAY Canada and R/C America). Again questions arose, about customer service, parts support, shipping, new accounts etc etc. In the past years XRAY was not properly represented by the North American importer, this lead to shorts in products, long wait times etc etc. Our 1st agenda with the line was to squash the rumors and show both the consumer and shop owner this was a thing of the past. Well one year later we are still here and growing every week with new dealers and or simply dealers inquiring about us and our product lines. Some have asked me our game plan, and I jump to answer, we are a new face in the East of Canada, it will take time to learn the market and gain the trust of the dealers. This I accept and look forward to doing. I firmly believe in our lines and therefore are not in a rush to simply get a quick sale. XRAY's product lines are only going to grow by leaps and bounds over the next few years. The company is very progressive and will be in new markets with new offerings. As the people become use to seeing the products and what they offer as benefit to the consumer we will be right here to provide them through our ever growing dealer network. It's a long term goal we have set in place and to be honest, we are right on track

Going forward, 2006 will be a year we concentrate more on customer interaction and showcasing our product. New dealer incentives and special promotions. We are also going forward with our race team in the East which has been carefully selected and will represent what XRAY is all about- Quality products and a product you can be proud of owning.

Good luck with your choice. There are some awesome buggies out there and finding the one that suites you is what is most important.

Ahh Korgae, I wish that down here R/C America had someone as good as you supporting the line and helping people out... I've only seen one or 2 posts from them on xray's board... they are great at answering emails very quickly though, I will give them that for sure!!

As far as the Hyper 7pbs goes... the guys down at the track here that were runnign the PBS have switched to C-Hubs.. they found that it worked better for them on this track... I can't speak of what it is like on different tracks... but I think it's more mental for them anyways.... I was beating them with my MBX-5 and OS RG anyhow

I'll echo what I said before... Go with the TTR or XRay buggies unless you get an insane deal on the H7 - by that I mean like less than $500 out the door with the starter box and engine... otherwise you will be better to buy the XB8R or EB4-S3. You will get much better support and help with it at races... just my $0.02 again... I think I've contributed maybe $0.10 now.. LOL
