the HPI is a 23cc, no tune pipe will fit it.
and its hpi, so no after market upgrades available yet, not prooven yet either.
on the video's they made all they do is turn around in a 50 foot radius, no long speed runs, and it seems to reach top end very quickly. Although the design is new and eye catching, i would wait to see it before buying it.
I was planning on buying one but weighed the pro's and the con's and was going to get a marder, but i found a good deal on a monster beetle and went for that, i rather go for a prooven one, like the FG.
the reason a divorce is so costly is because its really worth it.

The original engine that came with the off road FG's were 23cc. The Leopard I have came with a G230 Zenoah and a tuned pipe straight from FG. Compared to the Monster Beetle/Truck, I don't see a signifcant difference in power. I've had all three (Selwa bought the MTs from me).

I suppose if I ran mine head to head with Selwa's converted FG(which has the 26), we'd see a difference.

Also, all the on road cars run 23cc motors, whether they 're a Solo or a Zenoah.

As far as which to go with, FG or Firehammer, I'd say whichever is easiest for you to get parts for. In the GTA, for FG parts, you pretty much have only Advance Hobbies. Whereas with the Firehammer, any LHS should be able to get you any needed parts.

That being said, the Firehammer does have some parts compatibility with the Marder and vice-versa. One of the US distributors has a parts compatilbilty chart for the two.

The main reason for this is that the Firehammer is a Chinese built copy of the Marder. Sort of like a fake Rolex, but better.
