it's not everyone missing the point. it's that most don't agree with your opinion on rtr. and you have gone really far in insulting the race scene now, seriously. can you not expect to have to put a flame suit on after that?
now that you have laid the challenge, you should show up and try to be an a-b main driver, consistently. anybody can be a one hit wonder. I live out west, lots know me and know I have no ego problem (except when it comes to my singing lol), and you are coming back with negative posts to anybody that doesn't agree wiith your opinion.
Dont you live in BC??
there is NO race scene in Toronto
the GLORCS is NOT a local series
Belleville is 200km from Toronto
Kingsville is 300km from Toronto
NY State is..well..The United States
London is 200 km from Toronto
what does the word local mean to you???
The Sprucewood is located NORTH/WEST of Bolton Ontario....which is approx 60-70 km from the city of Toronto.
again..what does LOCAL mean to you??
Also where and when did I supposedly LAY DOWN THE GAUNTLET...and issue a challenge??
and to who??
the local Toronto Race scene??
their isnt one
You and a couple others have decided to take this personally for the wrong reasons.....
NEVER ONCE did I say the racers from the Toronto area suck
if I did POST THE QUOTE
you will find I never posted no such thing
Pipeous..how are you so sure that I have never ran with members of the GLORCS??
I have...they are good and get better each time I see them....
I manage to get track time once and a while myself....
I have a general idea of where I might stand
if its the "C" or "D" main...oh well......I am not a Pro.......but I can get around a track.....
is that a challenge too??
So please read and understand future posts before hopping on the SLANDER bandwagon

meh you dont have to listen to me, i also agree that there is a lack of tracks in ontario but there isnt you can really do about it. the nearest track to me is like 1 hour away and i cant drive and i wont be driven that far. there was a track that was going to be opened called 5 drive in, whatever happened to that? and why wouldnt i open a track myself, because i dont care that much about racing. the field behind my house is good enough. also dont argue with me, you probably know more and i will look like an ass. as for my previous post it seemed like an "eye for an eye" thing, it wasnt too popular in history so it counts as a silly name calling thing. and i didnt get the first sentence of your latest post, didnt get the joke or whatever it is.

I have no beef with you or anyone else for that matter
I just wish the posts were read properly and understood
I will let it slide that you hopped on the wagon without seeing who was driving
As for the first sentence of the last post....it should of said PIPEOUS wrote:
next thing you know...someone will tell me THE SHUSWAP is near Vancouver
or that the LOCAL VANCOUVER championship will be held in Kelowna

Lets face it...T.O is politics in motion baby. Anything that gets started gets shut down. GG case in point scarborough.
Indoor offroad...hmm possible..but supportable? Lots of overhead.
those that have tried have failed so far.
I'd have to look and see whether the U.S has major tracks in heavily populated areas.
Its all in planning. Action HObbies Kingsville...perfect example..planned and approved...everything on the table nothing hidden..and all was approved.
Would it work in T.O....
Oh and btw north york parks is willing to discuss a track...nothing would happen overnight..but it starts with the use of the bmx track on Bayview.
Before spring that will be worked out so it can be used by rcers.
As for RTR's.
If it wasn't for the tmaxx...rtr kit I'd be putting around with the like of the clodbuster and super saber likely...and of course indoor carpet.
It was the maxx that got me into the whole nitro craze...which has just gotten crazy from there..it totally reinspired my interest in RC again...not to mention put the people in place that made this site happen...wasn't for that I'd never have convinced fozy to get one...then fp mech..and then we'd not have been out a dave (king rc) and met flaming mo and jakfrost...and the rest is history...
So RTR kits definately have there advantages...and many a people have started with RTR kits to get into 1/8 buggy.
The other option is to of course always buy used...always put together...yeah you take the chance of getting one with the hoolies kicked off it.
The option of the pro kits...hmm..well if the shops are willing to do it then hey if you've got the money.....btw what does a shop charge to put one together if they are selling a kit to someone?

Do PROS get off on beating SPORTSMAN class racers like myself out west??
when did I ever say a PRO sucked???
Dave Henry would wax me standing on his hands...blindfolded
so would you probably.....considering the fact that you are a pro
so why are you all excited??
thats like me getting all excited to skate circles around shinny hockey players at the local beer league tourney(The Grandmaster almost went PRO...well minor pro)
your really hardcore eh??
