today was a crappy day to run outdoor, but i ran my RS4 3 Evo w/ halleyboy and his MT2. well, i hit the curb and the car spun around like a helicopters main rotor like 5 full times, then kept driving. then, we decided to drag our cars and when i stopped at the end of the street, halleyboy used my car as a ramp !!, he got like 1.5 - 2 feet of air. we also came close to smashing into each other, both at full throttle.
When all said and done: i broke a C-hub, bent and torqued a dogbone, lost a steering knuckle screw. Halleyboy forgot to drain the tank of fuel before transporting his truck which flooded the engine of roughly 50cc of fuel, and 1/2 of it ended up in the airfilter. THEN !!! i went out into a field to see how good a ramp was, and got drenched by heavy, sticky mud. then it rained, snowed, hailed. But through the whole thing, we kept a smile because THAT is R/C !!!
damn !!! i wish i had my camera.
thanx for reading !!! , because i didnt type all that for nothing.
tell me some more of your own stories...

I just remembered another story. I was bashing with a buddy. His name is rubingolf on the forums. Anyways, earlier on in the day, I swapped servos. From a Futaba to a Hitec. And most of you know that the Hitec servo movement are reversed from the Futabas. I knew that too, but COMPLETELY overlooked my Failsafe. Uh-oh. Well, I was bashing down in a valley. It was close to a fairly busy street just above. I decided to climb the steep hill up to where the road was. My truck was out of sight. I thought it would be ok, but i was wrong. The radio lost range and the failsafe kicked in. Forgetting to set the failsafe, instead of closed throttle, it pulled it WOT. I was still down in the valley talking to Rubin. I could barely hear the truck screaming because it was a long way up. BUT I heard it eventually. It was screaming. I ran up the hill to find my Maxx lodged under Rubin's car. The engine was probably ripping at Max RPM for probably 1-2 mins. Engine died when the signal was in range but it was too late. The engine was toasted. The glow plug coil fell out and it chunked a large peice of piston off. I was considered lucky that day because if my truck was 10 more degrees to the right, it would have been launched into busy traffic. Here are some pics of my burned engine. Good thing it was just a OS 18 CVR. Cheap engine.
Nothing was re-useable except the carb. Everything else was toast and damaged. Lesson learned. I always check my failsafe position before I start up my truck.

Highest .21 engine temp
Right before my ofna 8 port blew, i did a 103 kph run! After rung 6 tanks back to back, i put the temp gun to it, 571 F....wow i never knew a nitro engine can get that hot lol. after that, the engine wouldnt turnover, opened it up, everything was craked, and chared black! I even made an attempt to clean it, but it was deep in the metal lol.
Highest buggy jump
I totally cleared the highest point of a baseball diamond at Sportsvillage. i think i hit 35-40ft. The only damage was 2 snapped shock shafts, 1 front, 1 rear, diagonal from eachother
biggest spill by accedent
was doing full throttle (I dont know exactly but it was around 80-90 kph) hit a long-jump sand pit, clipped a piece of wood that enclosed the sand in the pit, caught about 10ft of air, hit the ground, cartwheeled about 60ft, into the parking lot, SLAM, right into those concrete blocks in front of the parking space. Damage, 2 bent dog bones, 1 bent shock shaft, pipe flew off, bent front shock tower, craked 1 rim, bent chasis, broke 2 front lower arms, broke the wing and wing support, cracked chassis guards, cracked one knucle, stripped the screw holes in the other, and my gear mesh was thrown off, so the clutch bell was stripped also.
Hit doing full throttle runs, hit the curb, and did a double barrel role and landed back on all four tires.
Hit a concrete road divider, and used it like a vert ramp, going up sidways and landing.
Using the same divider, drove full throttle straight, did a double backflip and landed.
My friend put himself on the line and I jumped him while he was standing infront of the ramp (the ramp was only 1.5-2ft high) I almost clipped him in the head the first attempt...lol
Second degree burns from touching pipe and header, in my noobie days
Spilt nitro on my hand full of cuts, my hand was on fire for about 2 hours...
cut finger pretty badly trying to stop the engine by the flywheel...
got my finger stuck in between the clutchbell and spurgear while tuning my buggy (dont ask how)
Drove my own buggy into my shins...
burnt myself prett good from the sauldring iron...
Ill add more when it happens or if i remember, lol
I was really funny to watch in my noobie years
