It's all relative isn't it? Would you being so forgiving of a surgeon or an airline mechanic making an error?

I mean how hard is it to put the correct number of screws or o-rings in a package? If you can't be bothered to create a robust process then include extras so if you miss one there is still enough to complete the kit.
There is a huge difference in the criticality of hobby parts packaging in a production envrionment and surgery or airline mechanical repair.

You can automate processes, and put in systems of checks and verifications, but there is still always room for minute degrees of error.

The fact that the company was able and willing to quickly address the issue is great.

Believe me, the 'profit generating business' would have rather not had to send out a $0.05 part via express mail, but things's the nature of volume production...

why is it great that the company will fix the prob . i dont think its great at all i think its the least they can do . there not going any extra miles or anything .

LOL, tears of joy and pain!!

I'm made a new thread where others can post their past problems with variuos kits. I do think companies can place a few o-rings, c-clips and nuts and bolts as extras too. I know LOSI and AE did in my kits.
