I heard the reason wh the t maxx does that is because the driver fas the idle to hi.Not sure how ttrue this is.

It is usually the fast idle. But even if the truck was setup properly, the drivetrain isn't completely engaged when idleing. So when i comes time to accelerate, the truck will jerk making it look like a rough start. And sometimes, when you try to shift to reverse on a hill or when there's some strain on the transmission, the truck won't shift at all. The constant engagement mod solves all these problems. I have that mod on my Maxx and it works wonders.
