Well, that's the whole problem in Toronto right now... there are no tracks

So we bring pylons and red tape to parks and create our own track for the day. There are no table tops... no large jumps... no moguls... nothing like a typical offroad track. But if you're creative enough you can create tracks that are good enough to have a lot of fun at for the day.

Call it "organized bashing" if you will... race-bashing at it's best! And believe me, just because our park-tracks don't have the jumps and whatnot that real tracks have, doesn't mean it isn't just as competetive and fun!

I'll be first in line when a real track opens... until then, see ya's in the parks

Something like this sounds great. Im up for some great electric races with my evader. I have a 4wd in the mail that would like to see some racing action
also. It really is too bad that there is no tracks available. Races would be so much better with less damage to the cars. Can't wait for some races!

This is most excellant!!!! I was a late starter into the hobby last summer and only had just begun to understand my Truck (Team Associated RC10-T4), when crule man winter set in. Since the crappy weather I have only had a few chances to use it (a couple meets in underground parking lots at night), although we had a blast, its still not the SAME!!!) and am looking forward to have some good races soon!!!!

Although bronstet is leaving, rest assured, there will be a new BiG Bl0cK Rustler in town to fill in his shoes, and fill them well for EPROT.

Track suggestions

A couple of spots in downtown TO that you may want to consider are:

-CNE grounds, which has a large open paved area near Dufferin Gates, but away from the National Building. When there are trade shows people usually park closer to the National Building. I've bashed nitro MTs there and no one has bothered me (including security and police).

-The huge open park just east of the CNE where there are three baseball diamonds. The grass is usually cut short for baseball.

Just north of downtown is Downsview Park (Sheppard & Allen Expway) which has both paved and grass areas to play.

Have fun
