King Rc Park Information

King RC Park is a privately owned RC track that is only open to the public one weekend a year. The track is open for the GLORCS Annual Sprucewood Invitational RC race. After the race the track is destroyed and re-designed for the following year. The race is the same weekend every year. (the last weekend in August) Click on the Sprucewood Invitational thread to find out more about the race or to sign up!

For the 2006 race the track is apx. 30 feet wider and 10 feet deeper. I dug the bowls deeper, created some drainage places to fix the wet areas, created 5 more marshal spots, stairs down into the bowl for marshaling, got rid of the tripple and made a cool double double. The big table top was not big enough and you lost your car at the end of it, so when you hit it now you fly 40 feet and you can see the entire landing. There are many new jumps, the rythm section is twice as long, the berms are all 4 feet tall and every square inch of the track has been kicked up and sculpted. To take the track to the next level I have invested thousands of dollars in brand new solid PVC tubing. It should last longer and not bounce the cars off of it, as well I think it looks very cool. The pit lane is now longer to help spread out the chaos.

Forwar Falling Start Gate is all new for 2006. This will create some real carnage in the first corner.
