converting pc power supply for chargers

i read somewhere that u could convert a pc power supply for use with chargers and such.does anyone know how?

It's simple. First take a look at what type of PSU you have. If it's an older model, then u have a push button on/off click switch. If it's the newer ones, then you'll need to jumper 2 wires so that it will turn on. The one I have you have to jumper the green and black wire. They're located on the plug that goes into the mother board.

Now with that done, you'll need to select the wires for the 12volts. From memory, yellow is 12 Volts, and red is 5 volts. So just hook up the wires accordingly to power taps.
