Battery charger suggestions please

I am looking for a good all around charger. Wait, lets be a little more specific.
I am looking for a charger ( peak of coarse ) It will be used to charge todays more common packs. GP3300 or 3800 etc etc.
Possibly even Lipo.
2 that come to mind are the ICE from duratrax and the one from Orion the name escapes me.
What are your opinions on these chargers and any others you may have had experience with.
Just doing my homework before I drop a coouple of bills somewhere.

You may also like to check out the ElectriFly Triton charger distributed by GreatPlanes. It is probably one of the most versitile chargers out there. Probably the best bang for your buck also.

I have one, been using it for 2 seasons, and love it... so simple to use as well, and has lots of features. You just can't beat the price for what this charger can all do.

Here is a link to view the chargers specs.

Here are links to reviews, so you can look and judge it for yourself...

Go with ICE!

Bought one more than a year ago - got an error message 1 day and shipped it back to Duratrax for service - they shipped me a new one!!!!

Excellent customer support/service. I'll buy any products that has good customer support.

You are probably talking about the Orion Advantage Charger w/c can also charge Li-Po. It's around $290 CDN. I guess you're paying for the name and the CF outer shell. You can also check out the MRC SuperBrain 977 charger w/c charges both NiMh and Li-Po's. At less than $200 CDN it's a good buy. Most, if not all good Li-Po chargers require a separate 12volt power supply.
