Well if your Savvy is still running then I say go for the clod axles. After all it says in your sig that you want clod axles. So make yourself happy and go get em!

OK, which is less expensive? Clod axles or the new engine? Because if you go for the less expensive one it takes less time to recover from the financial hit. That's how I justify my purchases

well, you do have to be careful when looking at a completely different vehicle. i went from a nitro RS4 3, to a Savage SS, to the 1/18 acale electrice and im not too impressed with them. my MRS4 is fast and beautiful, but my M18T is not really a truck that i enjoy (mainly because the ball diffs slip way too much with my Mamba).
my M18T does do grass alright though, not a bumpy lawn though.
If your Savage runs right now, and your happy with it, then leave it alone and grab those clod axles. I know its hard to not spend on a hop-up, but its gotta be done. for example, i want to buy a 17T motor for my M18T, and a graphite chassis, and a graphite rear deck for my MRS4, but i NEED an exhaust for my Collari .32 and i NEED a cold plug for it. so im forcing myself to transplant my Mamba between my MRS4 and M18T to be able to run them instead of not being able to run my Savage at all.
so, your Savage runs now, and your crawler does not.

just my opinion
