3PK...needs help...

So here it goes as I need help. I was out in a sprinkle of a rain shower, literally 3 drops got on the radio. I took it into the garage, dried it off and put it on my workbench with the power off. Here is the problem, 3 days later I went to use it again and it won't power up. The screen won't light up, no power to the LCD. What if anything can I do to fix it? Help me please as my truck will not move till I get this fixed.

sorry but stupid question

Check the batteries to make sure they are good. You may have left it on by mistake. My friend ran his 3PK out in the rain and no problem, so only thing I can think of is to check the batteries.

I have one as well and have never had a problem with it. I did temporarily blow up my KO radio by trying to hook up my Futaba battery pack to it, and the polarity is different (found out later) and heard something go pop in it. Took it apart to find a fuse, but there was not one. put it back together and it works.

So maybe it was a battery problem for you too.

Never hurts to check.

Batteries checked, but they are both cool. Now here is the funny part, I gave the remote a little tap on the front, and it started to work. A little crazy I suppose. Only thing I can think was that there was moisture inside as I left it in my car on a hot day and that is when it started to work. Strange huh.
