Tamiya offers parts for long after their kits are discontinued. This is due to the fact that they generally re-release em, or repackage them!

well i emailed tamiya costomer support and here is what they said

Dear Tamiya Customer,

Unfortunately not, if parts are discontinued, they are no longer available.
You may want to try some online trading sites such as "eBay" for
spare/replacement parts.

Customer Service Dept.
Tamiya America, Inc.

are you shure that i can get parts at a hobby shop? and can i order parts still?

Your best bet is to ask your LHS. I'm not sure about Tamiya but I know HPI parts are still available long after the kits are discontinued. My LHS told me that they have an "agreement" with HPI to keep carrying the parts. If the kit wasn't a big seller then don't expect parts support.

kits r not made 1 part at a time.... the pieces r made 100's a day in the machines... they will always have parts left over that they ship out... once the "discontinue" to make a model they will still have a LIMITED supply of parts to ship/sell... after that not much luck unless they continue with production.... like i said in the pm's... try hobby shops, garage sales or ebay.....
