i dont personally have any expereicne with the GTB, but when I was doing research on which I wanted, everything I read said that the Sphere was way smoother than the GTB, which makes it more sutable for offroad, where i think the GTB excels in an onroad application.

I had the sphere competion, and all i can say is it flat out rocked, it was the first mod motor i've had in a 2wd buggy that I could peg it, and the car actually went straight, it is by far the smoothest speed control i've ever run, plus if you plan on running lipo, its got a low voltage cut off built into it (the competion model only), plus you can run bruhsed or brushless motors, and the speed control automatically detects which your running, same with battery, very very user friendly system,

I cannot speak for the GTB, I had a sphere brushed and brushless with a Neo 3 star in a Kyosho Lazer ZX5. It was absolutly amazing
I plan to get one again next season for my next 4wd vehicle, but I may go down to a Neo 2 star motor this time. The three star had a little more power than I could actually use. The 2 star should do just about right for my needs. I may also go with the Sphere Comp next time around since I do not need reverse and its abaility to detect between a brushed and brushless motor automatically, with no worries of a wrong setting and frying the ESC

mgrmek, runs a GTB system in his Losi xxx4 buggy with great success.
Maybe he will post his feelings here.

I actually run the Novak GTB brushless 6.5 in the XXX-4, and the Sphere Neo 1-Star in my 2WD buggy...

I like the Sphere a little better b/c it runs just as cool without a FAN on the top, which the Novak requires... therefore the Sphere is a little lighter...
