First off thanks for a fantastic race day yesterday, everybody in truck class ran great, and Narly1 would have done great if his front spindle didnt break.

My question is what where you guys using for motor and speed controller, and in what vehicle?

I am thinking about buying a brushless system for my XXXT because I would like to be able to have reverse during practice, and ease of maintenance a brushless provides.

I was using a 19 turn motor with an older GT7 Novak speed controller, and had plenty of power and speed all day. I know a couple of people had problems with there brushless system thermalling yesterday, and wondered if anybody had the problem in truck class.

I was too busy racing yesterday to figure out how I managed to go from last to first, to finish 2nd overall in the A main yesterday. I hope I didn't accidently hack somebody out of the race.

I finally figured out how to take the double on the back straight. I made it everytime in the main but once, and during qualifiying it was the opposite way.

Anyways please post your motor/speed controller combo's for me, and what happened to you during the race. Just curious because I only posted 8 laps max during qualifying and most of the other guys were 9 and atleast one guy had 10 laps.

Thanks for everybody who helped me with marshalling and marshalling my truck all day, and everyone involved in the race day as it went smooth and without a hitch.

Well I was running a RC10T3 almost FT. For a motor I was running a Trinity SpeedGems Pro 11T Double. Gearing: 17/87 Speed Controler: LRP Quantum Competition (Original) Batteries: Pro Match 3700mAh

I have been wondering what everone was running as well... I know every kit I have seen has setup sheets, I wonder if sids raceway would post the setup sheets of the top 3 drivers in each main?? I think it would be a great idea to really compair and help in tuning our vehicles!
