savages are good straight line, if you like to make the occasional turn i would go with the revo. if your starting out, the t-maxx is very easy to work on compared to the revo or savage. I have had all three, they all are good trucks.

sportwerks meyhem st truggy.strongest most reliable truck ive owned(had revo 3.3,tmaxx 2.5r,savage 25,tnx),very fast s26 engine, handles amaizing once you add the exteded chassis, extremely easy to work on,high quality parts and hardware make this truck.local support is a bit of a problem but i order from horizon hobby and whatever i want is at my door in 2 days, the shipping is dirt cheap,as well as the parts.i ordered almost a complete truck in spare parts plus most of the pro parts for like $150.almost all the pro parts from the meyhem buggy fit plus there are tons of factory upgrades.btw, its cheaper than the competition and comes with spectrum tx/rx,the best radio an rtr has to very happy with it after three months of abusing it without breaking anything worth over $ get the same as more expensive truggies for less.

i dont know which truck to suggest but whatever you get dont get a tmaxx. if you cant decide on anything different then you cant go wrong with a savage or a revo.

if you new to Nitro MT's then my suggestion would be the Tmaxx....I own one it is a great truck..easy to work on and with the right set up it is fairly competitive at my local track...

as for bashing I am one of the hardest drivers on my trucks and I have yet to break anything other than the body and i put a crack in the fuel tank after a huge jump...

buy one and have a blast

have you thought about the TNX? for the price you cant get a better truck Ready to race right out of the box

the savage X SS is the way to go for durability, they have lowered the center of gravity so it doesn't handle as bad as the older versions of the savegs, plus with the new changes to the diffs and tranny make it easier to fix
You can drive a fast truck slow, but you can't drive a slow truck fast!
