Need some suggestions.

Hey everyone. I'm fairly new to the scene and i'm looking to jump back in considering RC cars have always been an interest of mine but i've never had the chance to explore. I had an old electric stadium style car which was no longer being made and parts where becomming scarce and expensive. I'de like to stay in the electric powered cars since i'm currently studying electronics and it will give me an opportunity to play around with soldering and any other mods that may come into mind later on. I'm looking at spending around 350$Cad. This should include everything I need except for tools and spare parts. All suggestions are welcome. Feel free to talk me into Nitro cars too if the budget fits.

xxx-t rtr - can get it brushless rtr as well

all good choices, just depends on your lhs and parts support from them.

i bought a b4rs off of ebay but my deciding factor was that zoomroom carries associated and he can get me whatever i need for it fast.

good luck and hopefully we'll see you at sids in the spring.

Well, thanks everyone. I finally went to Hobby Home and bought a Duratrax Evader ST Pro. It treated be well but then i let my buddy try it and he broke the transmission brace and one of the linkage toes in the back.I was surprised to see it let go so easily but it was quite cold outside....I guess i'll have to make a trip to the lhs again.

Also,I know they cover 1 year full replacement on graphite parts...but i'm not sure if its worth sending them out or not? Should I just get some aluminium parts instead? Opinions?
