i was just wondering if there was any talk of making the heats and or main times a little longer like 6 mins, they are doing it in the states and i think i would be a very cool thing to adopt if every body is for it

I would really rather not... That would mean I would have to buy 5 new battery packs.

Right now my 2400mAh matched packs work quite well.... I only have 2 packs that could make it to 7min.

I just don't have the funds to do that.

I think 5 minutes is long enough, for trophy races anyway.Remember that you may only be adding a minute or two to a race but times that by the number of races through out the day.It could add around another hour to length of time its going to take to run the races that day.As it is last summer it was getting close to 8 o clock by the time we were leaving for home, which by the way is an hour and a half or longer drive for some of us. And as Crafty said we dont all have the batteries or the money to upgrade them all.

longer time would be fun...but battery run time is the biggest problem.

i think that 6 min main r great it only a extra minute and ppl wont have to swamp pack or ne thing. like craftys 2400 will still have great punch the whole time

It would be nice if the race NEVER ended.

But, I'm sure the ESC and Motor don't feel that way.

Especially, in the middle of August!

We could hold an "enduro" type race sometime maybe......even make it so you would have to pit one to change batteries. We did that years ago as a side show race and it was pretty fun.
