Hitech are very very good as far as customer service and warranty go they have stepped it up since early 2000 i think because of previous problems and they really are trying for total customer satisfaction..send a letter with it that you planned on sending it back but you dog got ahold of it and if they cold put new leads on it you would be got nothing to loose! I have three dogs! they are well behaved but havent always been i know how it feels! good luck buddy!
