I know you said no bigger than 17mm hex(which I would still recommend over 14mm stock ones), but why? I'm running 23mm hexes and couldn't be happier with them.

You might have some trouble finding black rims, so I say you get white Pro-Line rims and dye them.

well thats a good question. it depends on the surface that you drive your revo on. ive gotta revo 3.3 too. and im running hpi nubz. the nubz come pre glued on white, black, or yellow rims. the nubz are cheaper then beadlocks too. also very light. the beadlocks are very heavy. the beadlock will wear down you servos if you are still useing stock traxxas ones. the nubs allow you to go to single servo instead too. with the nubz you need 17mm hex. i recomend the ofna ones.

Whatever you decide to do, don't run 40 series tires with a 14mm hex. You will break the centers out of them in no time. I learned my lesson the expensive way. Only run 17mm or 23mm with 40 series tires
