Here's what started me off in order. starting at 13 yrs old. the Boomerang was from John's Photo and Hobby!

that was when I was 13 to 15 yrs.

then what got me back into it was the x-mods that did it!!!

Tamiya grasshopper...then to a RC-10 goldtub chassis then to a LOSI jrx-pro... lost interest and time ...got back into it and started to drive @ offroad rc raceway... and the rest is history... I'm not to good with dates to put the time frame into perspective. I could add alot more models but that is how I started off.

My mother took me to the Toronto hobby show in 1986 to buy a Tamiya Monster Beetle. I left with a Kyosho BIG BRUTE, a single can MT!!!!, with japanese only instructions!!!

my buddy who had a BIG WIG(Tamiya) both ran at rcspeedway in the peel region

1st controller was a CHALLENGER 250 'stick'

For me it was a trip to Germany with my mother. In one of the shops was a grashopper on the shelf - it came home with me. The rest of the crap was bought at reams cycle on victoria park when they briefly had r/c on the shelf.

About 3 years ago (I was 13/14) my friend was into nitro planes, I wasn't really into planes so I started looking if there were any cars that ran on nitro. I told my cousin about this and a good friend of his was into cars major. I spoke to him for a little bit and he referred me to this person who was selling a used HPI nitro MT (the first one). All started from there.
