titan 12t in a tt01

My buddy just got himself a mamba 5700 for his pede and for giggles we popped the xl5 and titan 12t into my tt01 and all i can say is wow i could not believe how fast this thing was. The weather here in Ontario is still less than desirable so i had a very small space to play with it in but we could not believe the speeds it achieved once we get more desirable parking lots i.e. ones that don't have big wet patches or snow then i shall get some video of it

Any pede rustler owners who have upgraded to better motors and not sure what to do with ure old xl5 and titan tt01's are a cheap

I must say though a very small amount of modding was needed the pinion shaft is to long for the tt01 so that needed to be ground down a bit and with the 550 being longer i needed to cut a small patch out of the back of the motor tray for the connector to stick thru, also the titan has a metal sleeve on it this must be removed its just press fit and slides off but without it gone it binds on the driveshaft
I don't keep track of my rc's anymore its like admitting an addiction

That's Great! You have to show pics and vid of it in...I never even pondered doing that before. Must have CRAZY torque.
