I've never even seen an aftershock....i've heard good things about their LST fas as a beginner truck steer clear of the Savvy...I think the Tmaxx is a good place to start you get a sturdy truck and some real performance even is you only buy a 2.5 and they are much easier to work on..

just my .12 cents

yes its as good as the other trucks, but you will get people that argue the revo is the best, or the Tmaxx is the best, or the savage, or etc . . . one thing the aftershock has thats light years better than the others is the radio equipment, both traxxas and HPI include stuff that is basically garbage IMO, where losi includeds a decent digital radio, and decent servos,

get what you like, and what you can get parts for, dont be swayed by what people on the net say necesarily, no company is going to release garbage on to the market, everything out there is good,

The Aftershock is the LST without the Reverse Gears and Servo, comes with plastic shock body not that it is bad, but it does come with other goodies though. If you have seen people with the LST and LST 2 and loved the way it handled buy it. It is lighter and comes with a great radio and motor.
