Hey Guys,

I just got a TMAXX 2.5 with a bunch of hop ups on it. I will be doing mostly racing but it was such a good deal I couldn't turn it down. I know TMAXX's are mostly used for bashing. Anyways, it still has the stock 25 motor. I was wondering what you guys would suggest as a replacement motor, or anything else that would help the tmaxx in racing.

Thanks in advance.

The 3.3 (.20) is not a bad motor but if you really want to race it then getting something in the.21 size would be better.

I have heard the picco max .26 really wakes up the will need a certain engine mount for it to drop in......or maybe even an extended chassis depending on what you read about it...and where you read it....there are literally hundreds of things that can be done to the Tmaxx for racing it all would depend on your track location and conditions your driver ability and of course the moolah to buy the upgrades..

Do lots of reading if you see something you like on someones truck shoot em an email or PM with your q?'s..see this post is already too long.
