What you have to do is take your 2.5R into a hobby shop and fill out the engine replacement form. Make sure you take the clutch and flywheel off. They will send it out to the states and in about 3 weeks you will have your 3.3...Mind you, you will have to pay about $100.00.

It is a direct drop in motor. you can change the gearing if you would like but it will not do any harm to the motor. If you want to change it, remember to go down in pinion and up in spur.

The Traxxas guys designed all of the 2.5 line of vehicles to be direct drop in replacements for the 3.3..

Your best bet is to just keep your 2.5R and use it as a back up and pay the extra $50, then you will have 2!

The 3.3 seems like the most affordable engine for your revo to fit your needs..

hope this helps,

"pay the extra $50" u mean in buying a 3.3 without trading in the 2.5R? yeah that'll prbably be the case plus i dont think theres a shop in toronto that does the engine replacement plan..
