How about a Backwards race?

I ran about 10 laps or so today running on the track in the opposite direction as i was at the track alone after Sean left and I have to say it's like a totally different track...All the jumps are OK and i think the track is pretty good in reverse. It's kinda like having 2 tracks in one if you look at it like that. And it takes a bit to get used to it too...

Video Game makers have been doing this for years...program one track then they get you to run it both ways and call it 2 tracks...

Just a thought...or maybe even run one heat one way and another heat the other and flip a coin for the'd have to be good both ways...

Any comments on this idea?

I know Sids did run in reverse last year for a couple of their races. I guess it all comes down to the jumps.

I know the triple which is left of the drivers stand when you are racing will be a lot different. I don't know if you could double single. I wonder if there is enough room to single double going in reverse. That would gain the most speed. Hmmm...

The track was originally created with this in mind, but certain mods would have to happen (i.e. adjustments to jumps, etc) to make it flow nicely

Here I thought you meant driving the whole thing in reverse. That would get interesting. But I think I'll just watch - I have enough trouble going forward!

I can't even figured the track in the forward direction, let alone trying in it in reverse Might be worth a shot though, just to keep things interesting
