Final Details/Clarification for the Bread & Honey Festival this Saturday

I just wanted everyone to know that I have made concessions with the
organizers (Diane) of the festival so that we could exhibit off road RC
at the festival
. It will be in the same vicinity as the booth for
my financial services business. Once I explained about Sid's raceway to
Diane, she was very excited about showing off the buggies and letting
new people know about the hobby.

There will be a large track on grass in full view of all the patrons
of the festival. I have acquired a full set of "road rails" to make
the layout. it will be front of "bleacher" style seating. There will
be power for charging etc.... for the volunteers spending at least 4
hours at the demo, their entrance to the park will be taken care of as
well as the lunch arrangements.

This event is intended to demonstrate Electric Off Road Buggies and
Trucks in action. Sid's owner has requested a banner for Sid's
driver's stand to be made, that will also be used at the Demo and then
be permanently placed on the driver's stand at Sid's Raceway. We will
have tons of Sid's raceway flyers for onlookers.

This might be a neat place for people to show off their vintage rc
stuff to new people either for display and/or demonstration.

The event starts at 9am and ends at 5pm. Car-pooling for the heavier
gear will take place at 8am from the streetsville GO station into the park

Please let me know if you would like to participate and/or if you have
any suggestions. The owner of Sid's is pleased with the potential
exposure. email all inquiries at
(volunteers are needed for either 9am to 1pm and/or from 1pm to 5pm.)

hey there

sorry, I have only been checking the email.

Nitro was permitted at a past event, BUT, enough people complained to
the director of the B&H festival that they had to not allow Nitro

at least there are some new tracks that are closer than ever this year!"!!!
