My Savage was running hot for the first liter of fuel (hpi 20% with 14% oil), I switched to sidewinder 20% with 12% oil and now its running @ 200. I could not believe that their would be that big of a differance.

I have run a pico .26, mach .26, K4.6. axeal .26 and the best motor of all was a hyper .21 8 port, lots of power for a savage, and lots of torque, that motor never gave me a problem till the 8th gallon of fuel, then gave it to a friend of mine, he rebuilded the carb and ran another gallon and a half *L*
You can drive a fast truck slow, but you can't drive a slow truck fast!

Best Nitro motor I've seen run on the savage is an RB TM .28, it's got a ridiculous amount of torque..
The Power of BRUSHLESS!!!!!
1HP (electric) = 746 Watts.
Everything is brushless!!

I had the O.S> .30 VG in my Savage X with an O.S. #8 plug and it just ripped. It pulled wheelies on demand. I have only used it for bashing but i'm sure it will perform in an organized race too.
